The Jump| Poetry Corner

Follow me I always follow back 🙂

This is a a first draft of a little poem in my mind. Let’s just see how it goes.

Take a leap and jump…

Fall and keep falling.

Lean over with your eyes closed.

Why won’t you jump?

Why are you stalling?

The thoughts racing through your mind.

The hands tracing down your spine.

Do you think it matters now?

Do you think they’d care somehow?

Don’t look down, just take a step forward.

Let your curled toes touch the empty air

Let go of all your fears.

((My question for you to ponder on was whether you believe the jump was one of faith, setting yourself free from everything that holds you back or one of defeat and giving up to end it all. I’m still deciding.))
